Paul Fava
Paul is one of the founders of Hindsight Tax Partners. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 having trained with a London based, two partner firm of Chartered Accountants where he gained a broad general practice background.
On moving back to the North East in 1995 he specialised in personal tax working for Price Waterhouse (and in due course PricewaterhouseCoopers) becoming a Senior Manager in the tax department until late 2002.
He has extensive experience of personal tax and trust tax at both an advisory and compliance level. This includes income, capital gains and inheritance tax.
Mark Swansbury
Mark is one of the founders of Hindsight Tax Partners. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and was admitted to the ICAEW in the same year. His early career was with Price Waterhouse and more recently PricewaterhouseCoopers, working as a Director in the tax department until 2003. He specialises in structuring the interests of high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs to minimise income, capital gains and inheritance tax, including the use of partnerships, companies and trusts.
He also has extensive experience of corporate tax compliance and advisory work, including both quoted and unquoted UK and international groups of companies, and of Inland Revenue investigations.
Ed Loach
Ed qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1982 and was admitted to the CIOT in the same year. He began his career with the Inland Revenue and has also worked for Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst and Young.
Ed has extensive experience of expatriate and employment tax issues. He has also dealt with the tax affairs of personal tax clients at both an advisory and compliance level throughout his career.
Veronica Taylor
Veronica joined Hindsight Tax Partners in September 2003 providing administrative support to the tax team.
Veronica’s experience includes various administrative and PA roles within the tax and accounting sectors. Veronica is the friendly face of Hindsight Tax Partners who can be relied upon to organize meetings and ensure that business queries are dealt with as soon as possible.
Michelle Chater
Michelle has worked in the accountancy industry since March 1994. She joined UNW (a medium sized Newcastle firm of Chartered Accountants) in 1998, working in the Business Services department and was involved in areas such as year end accounts, book-keeping and payroll. Michelle is used to assisting clients with book-keeping work, and has considerable experience in using the Sage accounting software package.
More recently Michelle has worked in industry as a Finance Manager for a website design company and therefore, has hands on experience of working in industry.
Michelle is responsible for general accounting and book-keeping services
for private clients, trusts and businesses on an advisory and compliance
basis.
